We are a family-owned berry farm that offers PYO berries and real fruit ice cream.

We grow and sell a wide selection of berries, including strawberries, raspberries, boysenberries, and karaka berries (a cross between the boysenberry and blackberry). Enjoy a hot summer’s day by soaking up the sun and picking your own berries, or buy one of our pre-packed punnets available from our shop or Connings Food Market. Afterwards, cool off with a delicious real fruit ice cream; a Nelson summer just isn’t the same without one.

Berry Lands Appleby

Our main store and berry farm is located in the middle of Appleby, a 5 minute drive from Richmond. It’s the perfect place to stop in and visit on your way out to Golden Bay or the Abel Tasman on your holiday.

We also have a pop up ice cream shop just outside Connings Food Market, so when you’re finished buying your groceries, you can treat yourself and the kids to a yummy real fruit ice cream.
